Terms of service

1. About us

This website is run by Backlite. You can reach us through our contact page. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Our products

We try to show our watches as accurately as possible. Some product images are studio composites, and screens display colours differently, so the dial colour and finish of your watch may vary slightly from the photos. Measurements are approximate.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken when you place your order and is processed securely by our payment providers; we never see or store your full card details.

4. Your order

After you order, we'll email you to confirm we've received it. Our contract with you starts when we email you to say your order has shipped. We may cancel an order and refund you in full if a product is unavailable or was listed at an obviously wrong price.

5. Delivery

Delivery options, charges and timescales are set out on our Delivery page.

6. Returns, cancellations and warranty

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, and we extend this to 30 days. Full details, including our 12-month warranty, are on our Returns page. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

7. Discount codes

Discount codes can't be exchanged for cash, can't be combined unless we say so, and may be withdrawn at any time. Welcome codes can be used once per customer.

8. Our liability

If we fail to meet these terms, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failure. We aren't responsible for loss that isn't foreseeable, or for business losses. We don't exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

9. Privacy

We use your personal information as described in our Privacy policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of the country where you live.
